I regret not having been here in so many years. It used to be a regular haunt because it was very group friendly and had a great variety of wonderful foods and drinks for us to share. Took my next generation for dinner here. Despite some picky eaters with me, the kitchen adapted and made for some flavorful dishes. The menu appeared a little smaller than before but perhaps they decided to focus more on the options they have now because everything we ordered came out great (lomo saltado, arroz con mariscos, tallarin verde, cau cau). Despite a half-full restaurant, there were only two wait staff and they appeared a little new and overwhelmed. They were very friendly and hospitable though. And they made for a pleasant family dinner experience.

From the moment we entered we were greeted by a lovely Peruvian lady that treated us, the food, and the restaurant as if it were her own. While not the owner, she well respected the establishment. And greatly cared for us. The staff are not only excellent cooks but look at this presentation! Excellence. I'd drive the 2 1/2 hrs for the fried plantains alone! So delicious! The steak was prepared exactly as it should for lomo. Impressed! Can't wait to bring my family here. Wish it wasn't so far away from us.

We ordered takeout for dinner from Lola's during a quick overnight stay in Glendale. It appeared closed from the outside, and we almost went to another place. Fortunately, another group decided to open the door and when I realized they were open, we followed suit. The staff was welcoming and helpful. After briefly looking over the menu, we ordered the following: Yuca Frita a la Huancaina $18 Seafood saltado $29 Lomo saltado, beef $29 We took our meals to the hotel and immediately dug in. I was pleased to see that the portions were generous, especially since they're on the pricey side IMO. My seafood saltado came with a good amount of seafood and the sauce was flavorful. My son also devoured his lomo saltado with no complaints. I only had a few bites of the yuca frita, but it was also delicious. Lola's was a great pick for dinner!

We came here as a group of 18 people after a weekend of AYSO Expo training and classes. We were all famished. Our tables were ready when we arrived. The service was great, fast and accurate. The food was VERY delicious and very generous portions. A few people had never been to a Peruvian restaurant so I had to help them choose. Nobody was disappointed. We will be back next year for sure. We were lucky enough to be here on a day they had a live singer. (Saturday) Her voice was angelic and she sang both English and Spanish songs.
